Small, William (1927-)

Bill Small was born in Craven in November 18, 1927, and devoted much of his time to agricultural endeavours. He was a founding director and chairman of the Canadian Western Agribition and Western Canadian Farm Progress Show respectively. Small’s name is included on the Honour Roll of the Canadian Association of Exhibitions and Fairs. He was made an Honorary Director of the Saskatchewan Agricultural Graduates of the University of Saskatchewan and received a Distinguished Graduate in Agriculture award. Inducted into the Saskatchewan Agriculture Hall of Fame in 2000, Small was awarded the Saskatchewan Order of Merit in 2002.
